The composition of this image is split horizontoly through the middle with most of the objects
on the table. the focal point of the still life is the pumkin in the centre and then the eye follows the objects surrounding it.
All of the objects are well placed together, but the shapes differ in size to seperate them from each other and to keep the viewer can see the the objects individualy.
This drawing also helps show the different textures between man made material such as the jugs
and the organic shapes of the fruits/veg.
i would improve this drawing by adding a background to stop the image from floating.
Here i chose my focal point as the brass jug with its very reflective surface it gave a lot of high key value in light .this is a great example of specular reflection giving very defined highlight.
i was immediatly attracted to the texture of the jug because of the interesting images reflected from its surface and the way the angle from my point of view deformed them.
the shading helps give more depth and volume to the object and making it apear like a real solid object
using a different medium such s chalks or graphite sticks can give different shading effects. ssuch as the glass bottle. the
the composition in this still drwing
in this life model i chose to draw the leg. focusing more on detail and shading.
this life model drawing has a lot of implied lines to give the effect
this drawing is based on pose. and the curvurter of the human body.
this model rather thin to emphasise on the skeletol muscles with in the body.
with more focus on the upper body there is a "S" curve that starts around the back of the neck , bends around the spine , follows round the hips and down the leg.
the gesture of this image if very this drawing took 15 minutes to comlete but was
with this image i focused on the proportions of human anatomy , like di vinci's vatruvian man. how relative they are to one another.
people with a wider posture are more to draw because of the curves around the body such as the stomach and the breast.
